Multi-car collision on I-15 in Clearfield sends one to hospital
CLEARFIELD, Utah (ABC4) — A five-vehicle crash on I-15 in Clearfield sent one individual to the hospital on Tuesday morning. According to Utah Highway Patrol, a BMW passenger car attempted to merge from a middle lane to a left lane and hit a Toyota Yaris. The Toyota Yaris went to the left and hit another vehicle in the HOV lane. After the initial impact, the BMW went to the right and hit another vehicle and pushed it into a fifth vehicle. The crash involved five vehicles and took place on southbound I-15 near 650 North in Clearfield. Five vehicles were involved. At least one individual transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. The HOV lane is blocked. There are no further details at this time.
