Motorcyclist dies in crash on Baldwin Street in Jenison
A motorcyclist died after a head-on crash with an SUV this morning in Jension.It happened just before 6:15 a.m. on Baldwin Street near Main Street in Georgetown Township, just a half mile from the ramps to I-196, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office.Initial details show the SUV, driven by a 60-year-old man from Jenison, was headed west on Baldwin when it crossed into on-coming traffic, hitting the motorcycle head on. The 40-year-old motorcyclist from Jenison was pronounced dead at the scene, said deputies.The driver of the SUV was not hurt.The crash remains under investigation.
