Motorcyclist dies after crashing into SUV in New Wilmington: PSP
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (WKBN) - A motorcyclist has died following a collision with an SUV at the intersection of New Castle Road and Pulaski Mercer Road. According to a release from PSP, the crash occurred Saturday at 12:34 p.m. Police say a motorcycle traveling west on Pulaski Mercer Road failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with an SUV traveling south on New Castle Road, who did not have a stop sign. The report states that the motorcyclist, identified as Scott A. Arnold of Wheatland, was thrown from the vehicle and sustained fatal injuries, and he was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:03 p.m. The SUV crashed into the foundation of a nearby house. The occupants of the SUV were treated for minor injuries by Shenango Township Fire EMS and released.
