Minor killed in Smith County ATV crash on FM 2493
SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KETK) - One child is dead after they were fatally injured in an ATV crash in Smith County on Saturday. According to Smith County Emergency Services District #2, a minor was killed in an ATV crash on FM 2493 at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night. The minor was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. FM 2493 runs from Bullard through Flint and into Tyler. Information about the crash is limited but the Texas Department of Public Safety is responsible for investigating most fatal crashes on public roads.
