Motorcyclist dead after collision with SUV in Cumberland County
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- A motorcyclist was killed after a multi-vehicle crash in Cumberland County on Wednesday night. According to the Hampden Township Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Carlisle Pike and Brondie Boulevard for a reported two-vehicle crash at 9:43 p.m. on July 15. An investigation determined that an SUV and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of the roadway. Police said that the driver of the motorcycle, a Mechanicsburg resident, sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
