Morehead State student dies in West Virginia car crash
MOREHEAD, Ky. (FOX 56) — Morehead State University is mourning the loss of one of its students. According to the university, Braden Nicholas Murry passed away on May 11 at the age of 21. He was enrolled as a business administration major with a concentration in general management and a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Eta Chi fraternity. "Murry was a beloved student and a proud member of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity. He was known for his contagious laughter, kindness, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. Braden truly was the sweetest boy, and his presence made a lasting impact on friends, family, and his fraternity brothers," a GoFundMe campaign reads. Campaign organizers wrote that he was killed in a fatal car accident. Nexstar's WOWK reported that he was involved in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer in Fort Gay, West Virginia. Murry is from Louisa, per Morehead State. Visitation was held on May 13 at Wilson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service at Community Fellowship Church will be announced at a later date.
