A body has been recovered after Campbell County authorities launched a multi-agency search after an iPhone crash-detection alert and missing-person report later Friday.It all unfolded around 8 p.m. when the Campbell County Police Department responded to a iPhone crash detection alert and a subsequent missing person report in the Melbourne area.An extensive search ensued in the area with multiple crews including the Boone County Water Rescue Team.After a lengthy search, first responders were preparing to expand search operations Saturday morning when they were notified the vehicle and missing person had been located upside down in a shallow section of Lloyd Creek, a significant distance from the original alert location.The Campbell County Coroner responded to the scene following the recovery. The individual’s name will be released by the Campbell County Coroner’s Office following positive identification and notification of next of kin.
