Minor injuries reported after crash involving Lancaster County, Pa. school bus, fire chief says
A school bus heading to a field trip struck a boulder, prompting an emergency response on Wednesday, according to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Chief Josh Kilgore. Video above: Headlines from WGAL News 8 Today.The collision happened near West Sun Hill and Junction roads in Penn Township at 9:21 a.m. Chief Kilgore said a Warwick School District bus was heading to Lake Tobias for a field trip when it made a wrong turn. He stated that the bus attempted to turn around in a driveway when it hit a large boulder, causing a sudden jolt to the students on board. According to the chief, no one was injured, and there was no reported damage. Kilgore said as a precaution, the students were placed on a second bus and continued on their field trip.
