Men charged after EMT dies in Milwaukee street racing incident
Two individuals are facing legal charges after an EMT passed away in a hit-and-run incident linked to street racing activities in Milwaukee. The tragic event, which happened on Jan. 15 in the Lindsay Park neighborhood, resulted in the death of EMT Meng Kue. Dayton Milligan has been accused in relation to the collision that claimed Kue's life, with reports indicating that Milligan, along with two other vehicles, were engaged in a street race on 76th Street when the collision occurred. Prosecutors have revealed that Milligan was driving at a speed of 106 mph just moments before the impact, well above the 35 mph speed limit at the location of the crash. After the collision, Earl Gordon, allegedly one of the other racers, arrived at the scene, picked up Milligan, and fled. Gordon faces charges for hit-and-run and assisting a felon. Prosecutors noted that Milligan was previously convicted of a fatal hit-and-run incident in northern Wisconsin in 2021, being granted probation release in May last year. Bell Ambulance paid tribute to Kue in an online statement, acknowledging the loss he left within their organization.
