Mecosta County crash sends 2 pickup drivers to hospital
MARTINY TWP. – A collision between a Chevrolet pickup and a Ford pickup Tuesday sent both drivers to the hospital. At 12:18 p.m. April 28, Mecosta County deputies responded to the intersection of 90th Avenue and 13 Mile Road. According to a news release from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office, the Chevy pickup ran a stop sign and struck the Ford pickup. Both drivers were taken to Corewell Health Big Rapids Hospital for minor injuries. Morton Township Fire/Rescue, Chippewa Martiny Township Fire, Mecosta County EMS and Meceola Consolidated Central Dispatch assisted deputies at the scene. No other information was available at the time of publishing.
