MCTS driver sacked following deadly Greenfield pedestrian accident
Milwaukee County Transit System has announced the termination of a bus driver after an internal investigation into a tragic pedestrian accident in Greenfield nearly three weeks ago. The incident resulted in the death of George Kayser, 61, who was hit by an MCTS bus at the intersection of 56th and Forest Home Avenue. A green sweatshirt now hangs at the site in remembrance of Kayser. Following the collision, the driver was immediately suspended and subsequently fired two days after the investigation concluded.
