A man who was killed in a series of crashes involving a wrong-way driver on I-93 North in Boston has been identified. The crashes happened Saturday night just before midnight near exit 15A in South Boston.Investigators say a family of four crashed their Honda Odyssey while getting out of the way of Antone Carvalho, 81, of Somerset, who was driving south in the northbound lane.Carvalho went on to crash head-on into a Chevrolet Cruze, killing a Haverhill man in his 20s, police say. That man was identified as Riley Sergi, 28. Carvalho was taken to an area hospital to be treated of unspecified injuries. He will be summoned to court at a later date.Ed Murray, who was driving with his wife and daughter in the car, witnessed the crash and said he tried to get the driver's attention."All of a sudden there's a set of headlights coming straight at me," Murray said. "I had plenty of time to check my mirror and make sure that I wasn't going to hit anybody else, slid over in the middle lane and he went right by me. I leaned on the horn to get his attention, but that was a futile effort." This is the second fatal wrong-way crash on Massachusetts roads in just three days. Sheena Grandpre, 43, of Medway, was killed after crashing head-on into another vehicle while driving the wrong way on I-290 East in Northborough on Wednesday night. In May, a Massachusetts State Trooper was killed while driving on Route 1 North by a wrong-way driver.
