Man from Riverton charged with manslaughter following deadly Redwood Road accident

Emmanuel Flores-Hernandez, 31, is facing charges of manslaughter and providing alcohol to a minor after allegedly causing a fatal crash on Redwood Road. The incident, which occurred on November 18, resulted in the death of a 66-year-old woman named Lisa McGeary. Flores-Hernandez was found to be driving at speeds significantly above the limit just before the accident. Additional charges were filed against him, and he is currently in custody without bail. Upon initial response to the scene, officers discovered McGeary trapped in her vehicle while a passenger in another car sustained injuries. Data retrieved from the Tesla involved in the crash indicated that Flores-Hernandez was driving at excessive speeds leading up to the collision. Further investigation revealed the presence of firearms and drugs in the vehicle. The handgun found was traced back to a different owner who reported it stolen.
