Man dies in motorcycle crash on Norbeck Road in Rockville, second motorcyclist uninjured
ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) -- A crash involving two motorcycles left a man dead in Rockville early Sunday morning, according to police. The Montgomery County Department of Police said officers and rescue crews responded to the crash at the intersection of Norbeck Road and Hannans Way at around 1:15 a.m. There, officers found a man, who had been riding a motorcycle, with life-threatening injuries. He died at the scene. The second motorcyclist remained on scene and was uninjured. According to the police department, an initial investigation found that the two motorcyclists were driving their Honda motorcycles together west on Norbeck Road when they made contact with one another, causing both riders to lose control of their bikes. At this time, officials have not released the name or age of the man who died. The relation between the motorcycle riders also remains unclear. The crash remains under investigation.
