Man dead, multiple hurt after crash in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man died, and multiple people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Prince George's County overnight. According to the police, officers responded to the Kenilworth Avenue and Creston Street area around 12:30 a.m. on July 6 for a crash involving two vehicles. There, one of the drivers, a man, was pronounced dead. All other occupants from both vehicles were taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to police. The number of people injured in the collision is currently unknown. Following the crash, officers shut down Kenilworth Ave between Tuxedo Road and Creston Street. As of Monday morning, the road remains closed, and drivers were advised to seek alternative routes. It is unclear whether speed or alcohol was a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
