Legal case on fatal Fairview plane crash thrown out

The lawsuit regarding a tragic plane crash in Fairview last year has been officially dismissed by the courts due to the plaintiff's legal process missteps. The crash occurred on August 31st when a twin-engine aircraft crashed into a townhome near the Troutdale airport, resulting in the tragic death of 75-year-old Barbara MacDonald as well as two others. Following the crash, MacDonald's partner filed a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit, accusing Emerald Aircrafters of negligence in maintaining and inspecting the aircraft, and Circle Capital of failing to ensure the plane's safety systems were properly maintained. The incident caused a power outage and displaced three families.
