A deadly accident occurred early on the morning of Monday, January 5th along I-684 in Westchester, as confirmed by the state's Department of Transportation website. The crash took place just past Exit 8 at Hardscrabble Road in the Croton Falls area of North Salem, according to an incident alert. The incident was reported at mile marker 24.4 around 2:08 a.m. At the time of reporting, emergency crews were on the scene investigating, leading to the closure of the left lane out of the three lanes affected.
