Lake Charles crash leaves 34-year-old woman dead
LAKE CHARLES, La. (KLFY) -- One woman died and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Lake Charles, authorities said. Kaylee Luce, 34, of Lake Charles, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Lake Charles police responded Tuesday to a crash in the 3900 block of Gerstner Memorial Dr. Investigators said a pickup truck hit the rear of a stopped van with seven occupants. All seven were taken to a local hospital, including Luce. Three juveniles were stabilized and taken to a Baton Rouge-area hospital. The driver of the pickup truck was also taken to a local hospital.
