Kentucky State Police investigating fatal crash
ASHLAND, Ky. (WOWK) - Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash that happened around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday in Ashland. The crash happened near the intersection of Winchester Avenue and 25th Street and involved a pickup truck and motorcycle, according to the Boyd County Coroner's Office. The occupants of the motorcycle, a male driver and woman passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Agencies assisting at he the scene were Ashland Fire Department, Ashland PD, and Boyd County EMS. Officials say the victims were wearing helmets. The incident remains under investigation by KSP. The indentities are being witheld at this time until next of kin are notified.
