JPSO probing second fatal Marrero crash
The second fatal crash in Marrero on Sunday is currently under investigation by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. The incident took place at approximately 6:40 p.m. on 4th Street. The victim, a pedestrian, was struck by a truck while walking eastbound. Tragically, the pedestrian passed away at the scene. The driver of the truck stayed at the location and is participating in the investigation process, as reported by JPSO. Both the driver and the pedestrian will undergo toxicology testing, with the victim's testing to be carried out during the autopsy.
