IMPD investigating fatal crash on city’s northeast side
INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis metro police responded to a crash that left at least one person dead on the city's northeast side on Monday afternoon. Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded around 2:45 p.m. to the 4300 block of N. German Church Road after receiving reports that a fatal crash had possibly occurred in the area. Police indicated that the initial run indicated that a person was down before it was later upgraded. IMPD has now confirmed the incident is being investigated as a fatal crash. At this time, police have not provided any other details.
