Immigrant without legal documentation connected to fatal accident causing death of 8-year-old girl near Julian
A tragic incident occurred near Julian, California, where an 8-year-old girl lost her life in a head-on crash. The primary suspect in this case is Brayan Josue Alva-Rodriguez, a 25-year-old Guatemalan national who had been previously ordered to leave the United States. Alva-Rodriguez entered the U.S. unlawfully in February 2018 and had encounters with law enforcement, including two DUI arrests in 2020 and 2021. Despite being ordered for removal by an immigration judge in March 2023, he did not leave the country.
