Hospital still searching for family of man hurt in 60 Freeway wreck
A man involved in a car crash and hospitalized last week still has not been identified, and now health officials are asking for the public’s help. The man, believed to be about 25 years old, was taken to Los Angeles General Medical Center after last Thursday's crash on the westbound 60 Freeway near the 605 Freeway in El Monte. No additional details about the crash or the patient's injuries were released. Hospital staff have been unable to locate any family members or friends, and the L.A. County Department of Health Services is now turning to the public for assistance. The patient is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 178 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. An image of the patient was also released in hopes someone would recognize him.
