Guest shoots at family, apprehended after accident
In Memphis, a woman was taken into custody after firing shots at a family gathering and getting involved in a car accident while trying to escape. Ladashai Carter, 25, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and using a firearm during a dangerous felony after the incident on Creighton Avenue. Witnesses report that Carter, following an altercation, fired a gun in the direction of the home where the gathering took place. Fortunately, no one was harmed, but police recovered spent shell casings at the scene. Carter was apprehended after the vehicle she was in collided with another car, resulting in injuries to the driver. She is currently being held on a $100,000 bond.
