GoFundMe launched as family mourns sole provider in Memorial Day accident
A GoFundMe was launched for 42-year-old Richard Cortes, who died from a motorcycle accident on Memorial Day. Cortes was riding his motorcycle in the area of Olive and Rowell when he was hit by a car. He was quickly transferred to Community Regional Medical Center and was listed in critical condition. The family has informed FOX26 that he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. Cortes was the sole provider for his family as a maintenance technician for CV Homes. He is survived by his wife, 6 children, and 5 grandchildren.
