Four dead in small aircraft crash in southeast New Mexico
All four aboard a small aircraft are dead after a crash in the Capitan Mountain area in southeast New Mexico.Lincoln County officials said a small aircraft took off from Roswell and was headed to Sierra Blanca Regional Airport. The aircraft crashed and led to an emergency response around 4 a.m. Thursday, May 14.Emergency responders found all four aboard the aircraft dead. No identities have been released as family contacts are being made. The cause of the crash is unknown.The aircraft crash caused a wildfire to start in the Capitan Mountains.
