Fatality in Car Accident on Fairview Road, Lexington County

A fatal car crash occurred on Saturday night in Lexington County, South Carolina. The accident, involving driver Kai Maroney, age 44, occurred just before 11:30 P.M. on Fairview Road at North Edisto Road near Leesville. Maroney was driving eastbound when his vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree, leading to his death at the scene, as confirmed by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and Aiken County Coroner's Office.
