Fatality and injuries in Interstate 65 crash involving Cullman man
A tragedy occurred in Cullman County as a man lost his life and several others sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision. The incident took place on Interstate 65 near Cullman County Road 222 when a truck driven by a Gardendale man struck the vehicle carrying Gregory Booker, 33, who unfortunately passed away. While the driver of the truck escaped unhurt, two teenage passengers suffered injuries. Additionally, the driver and another passenger in the car with Booker were also injured. None of the individuals in the car were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, as per the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. An inquiry into the cause of the crash is currently ongoing.
