Fatal pedestrian accident linked to car hitting two parked cars and crashing into Woodburn house
A tragic incident occurred in Woodburn on Friday afternoon when a car crashed into two parked cars and a home, resulting in the death of a 69-year-old man who was hit by the vehicle. The driver of the car remained at the scene, and initial reports suggest that the car struck the pedestrian and parked vehicles before colliding with the home on James Street. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in the crashes involving the parked cars or the residence. The Woodburn Police Department is investigating the incident, and James Street is currently closed between Pacific Highway and Tierra Lynn Drive. Motorists are advised to find alternate routes to avoid the area. It is not yet known if any legal actions will be taken related to the incident.
