Fatal multi-vehicle collision in San Fernando Valley

Three individuals lost their lives in a hit-and-run incident at a San Fernando Valley intersection on Friday night. The collision involved three cars and occurred at approximately 9:35 p.m. near the intersection of 9350 N. Woodman Ave. The Los Angeles Fire Department discovered the fatalities inside two of the vehicles upon arrival, while a 35-year-old man was found trapped in his car. Emergency responders rescued the trapped man and took him to the hospital. The Los Angeles Police Department reported that the suspect had fled the scene after the collision. Due to the ongoing investigation and cleanup efforts, LAFD advised drivers to seek alternate routes as the intersection will remain closed for an extended period.
