Fatal multi-vehicle collision in Georgetown County involving a motorcyclist, according to troopers
A tragic incident occurred on Friday morning near Pawleys Island, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist in a multi-vehicle crash on US Highway 17. According to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at 7:42 a.m., involving a 2020 Ford SUV, a 2024 Honda motorcycle, and a 2024 Kia hatchback. The motorcyclist, who was severely injured, passed away at a local hospital. Fortunately, the drivers of the Ford and Kia were unharmed in the accident. Authorities are currently investigating the crash.
