Fatal motorcycle crash in Santa Cruz County takes the life of San Jose resident
A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 31-year-old man from San Jose on Highway 9 in Santa Cruz County. The California Highway Patrol reported that the man was traveling south of Highway 35 on his 2017 Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle when the crash occurred. Despite the efforts of paramedics and CHP officers who arrived at the scene around 5:54 p.m., the driver was pronounced dead at the site. The CHP stated that the cause of the crash is still being investigated, and it is unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role. The CHP emphasized the importance of motorcyclists taking precautions such as wearing protective gear and avoiding riding under the influence.
