Fatal mortorcycle crash claims Parma man’s life: Ogden PD
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A motorcyclist has died in a crash on Ogden Parma Town Line Road, according to the Ogden Police Department. On Thursday, July 9, around 5:21 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Ogden Parma Town Line Road and Gillett Road and found a motorcycle-car crash. The driver of the car was uninjured; however, the motorcyclist was found dead at the scene. Police say 24-year-old Steven Zahran of Parma was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Ogden Parma Town Line Road, exceeding the 40-mph speed limit. As he approached Gillet Road, Zahran passed a vehicle in a no-passing zone, putting him in the path of a vehicle that had turned onto Ogden Parma Town Line Road. The crash was seen by several other drivers who stopped to aid Zahran. This incident remains under investigation by the Ogden Police Department, which has found it non-criminal in nature.
