Fatal hit-and-run crash involving pedestrian in Kent, WA
A fatal crash occurred on Saturday night in the Kent area resulting in the death of a pedestrian. Following the incident, the driver of the vehicle that hit the victim fled the scene. The tragic event took place just before midnight on Dec. 13 on SR-516 East, with the pedestrian dying at the scene. Law enforcement authorities closed down the roadway for 3.5 hours into Sunday morning. The Washington State Patrol did not have information about the suspect's vehicle when they issued a public release in the early hours of Dec. 14.
