Fatal DUI crash in Las Vegas.
In the central Las Vegas valley, a fatal accident occurred late Saturday night involving two vehicles. One driver lost his life, while another, identified as Rogelio Camacho, 41, is now facing DUI and reckless driving charges. The collision happened when a speeding 2014 Mercedes-Benz ran a stop sign and collided with a 2016 Ford Flex at the intersection of East Saint Louis Avenue and South 6th Street just after 9 p.m. The impact pushed both vehicles before the Mercedes struck a pole and the Ford crashed through a fence. Tragically, the driver of the Ford passed away at the scene, while Camacho was hospitalized with moderate injuries and later taken into custody.
