A tragic incident occurred on Monday morning when a 27-year-old man from Florida lost his life in a collision on the Vine Street Expressway in Philadelphia, as reported by the Pennsylvania State Police. The accident occurred around 10 a.m. on Interstate 676 eastbound near 11th Street in Center City. According to state police, the man crashed his dark gray Toyota Corolla into the rear of a utility truck that had come to a stop in the center lane due to traffic, resulting in the fatal outcome. The crash led to a temporary closure of I-676, but the road has since been reopened.
