Fatal crash in Mesa claims 2 lives, including child: authorities
A tragic double fatal collision in Mesa involving a child is currently under investigation by local police. Authorities were called to the scene near 1860 West Southern Avenue just before 12:30 a.m. on December 13. The incident occurred when a speeding vehicle crashed into the back of another vehicle exiting a private drive, causing the rear-ended vehicle to catch fire. Tragically, the driver of the first vehicle and a juvenile passenger in the second vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene.
