Authorities are investigating a tragic incident that occurred in Macomb County, Michigan, where a 3-year-old child lost their life and a 2-year-old was critically injured in a head-on collision. The collision took place on Thursday evening on M-53 and Ebeling Road in Bruce Township. Upon receiving reports of the crash around 5:20 p.m., Michigan State Police responded to the scene to find two vehicles involved in the accident. One vehicle was occupied by a male driver with his 3-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son, while the other vehicle was driven by an 18-year-old woman from Davison. The preliminary investigation suggests that the male driver, heading southbound on M-53 in a 2011 Chevy Impala, crossed into the northbound lanes and collided with the 18-year-old woman driving a 2023 Chevy Impala. Tragically, the 3-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 2-year-old boy sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a hospital. Both drivers were also transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
