A tragic incident occurred in Eastland County on Wednesday evening when a driver lost his life in a single-vehicle crash. The victim, identified as Alejandro Espino Vazques from El Paso, was fatally injured on I-20 at mile marker 344 at 6:40 p.m. The Texas Department of Public Safety's crash report revealed that Vazquez was heading west on I-20 near milepost 344 when his vehicle veered left into the median, causing a collision with a cable barrier. After overcorrecting to the right, the vehicle crossed lanes, flipped over, and struck a light pole. The passenger was airlifted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth for treatment.
