Fatal crash forces road closure in Salt Lake near California Avenue
At least one person was killed in a crash in Salt Lake City on Friday morning. The Salt Lake City Police Department responded to the scene near 1600 South and 5600 West around 9:30 a.m. Details on the crash are extremely limited; However, SLCPD confirmed the crash was fatal. Emergency responders closed 5600 West between 1730 South and California Avenue as police investigate and clear the scene. An estimate for when the road is anticipated to reopen was provided. _____
