Fatal crash claims life of Eden resident in Tom Green County
An individual from Eden has passed away following a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 87 just east of San Angelo. The incident, which occurred on the night of December 10, involved a GMC Canyon pickup traveling in the wrong direction and colliding with a Nissan Rogue. Sadly, the driver of the Nissan, identified as Aleasa Ogle, was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Thomas Daniels. The pickup driver, a San Angelo resident, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Shannon Medical Center. This marks the second fatal crash in Tom Green County in the same week, with the previous incident resulting in the death of a 76-year-old man at the intersection of U.S. Highway 277 and Reece Road.
