Fatal auto-pedestrian accident closes Redwood Road in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — One person is dead following an auto-pedestrian accident on Tuesday morning. According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, just after 6 a.m. an auto-pedestrian accident occurred on Redwood Road near 1500 South in Salt Lake City. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene. At this time, southbound Redwood Road is closed from 1700 South to California Avenue. There are no further details at this time. ABC4 will continue to provide updates both on air and online.
