Fatal accident on I-435 at 95th St in Lenexa leads to traffic delays towards Shawnee Mission Pkwy
A fatal accident occurred on Friday morning on southbound Interstate 435 at 95th Street in Lenexa, resulting in delays for early commuters. Emergency responders were called to the scene around 6:40 a.m., where one vehicle collided with a bridge pillar. Sadly, the driver of the vehicle was declared dead at the scene. As of 8 a.m., the far left lane of southbound I-435 under the 95th Street bridge was blocked, causing traffic to back up all the way to Shawnee Mission Parkway.
