Driver runs red light in Milwaukee, causes crash that injures 3
The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a crash that left three people injured after a driver ran a red light on the city's south side.According to police, the crash happened around 5:30 a.m. near South 13th St. and West Oklahoma Avenue. A vehicle traveling southbound on South 13th St. ran the red light and struck another vehicle heading westbound on West Oklahoma Ave. Video obtained from a nearby gas station shows one vehicle striking the side of another, sending the car that was hit spinning and debris flying into the road.[mediaosvideo align='' embedId='4c19c067-6582-40e7-8c8d-5f0859e80459' mediaId='5d4709f2-5163-497c-bd06-8dc46b654df5' size=''][/mediaosvideo]The 21-year-old driver and 20-year-old passenger of the first vehicle, along with the 33-year-old driver of the second vehicle, were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
