Driver escapes unscathed after vehicle plunges into frozen pond in NW Oklahoma City
In northwest Oklahoma City early Monday morning, a driver escaped their vehicle after it crashed into a frozen pond. Emergency responders were called to the scene on Monday at around 1:30 a.m. The incident occurred on Valencia Park Drive near NW 192nd Street and North Pennsylvania Avenue. Despite the vehicle flipping over and sinking into the icy water, the driver managed to exit the vehicle without assistance. Firefighters used an aerial platform to support a wrecker in removing the vehicle from the pond. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in this incident.
