Driver dies days after SUVs collide head-on in Odenton, police say

One of the drivers involved in a crash Monday in Odenton has died, according to police.Video above: 85-year-old woman dies after head-on collision (Tuesday)Thomas Charles Knuckey, 85, of Odenton, died Wednesday at a hospital, Anne Arundel County police announced Thursday.Investigators said two SUVs collided Monday afternoon on Piney Orchard Parkway near Ransom Drive in Odenton. Police determined that a Lexus RX350 SUV left its lane after failing to negotiate a curve and struck an oncoming Hyundai Tucson head-on.Police Knuckey was the driver of the Hyundai. On Tuesday, police identified a passenger in the Hyundai who died as Amelia Knuckey, 85, of Odenton.The driver of the Lexus suffered non-life-threatening injures, police said.The crash remains under investigation.
