Driver dies after truck overturns and hits pole in Inverness crash
A man tragically lost his life in a rollover crash in Inverness after his pickup truck collided with a utility pole early Thursday morning, as reported by the Florida Highway Patrol. A Chevy Silverado was headed westbound on East Harvard Street towards South Apopka Avenue when it failed to yield at the intersection, causing it to crash into a GMC Sierra truck. The Chevy truck flipped over and struck an electrical pole, resulting in the driver being ejected. The driver was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the GMC Sierra truck was unharmed in the incident.
