Driver crashes into Naugatuck telephone pole, suffers minor injuries
NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTNH) — A person suffered minor injuries after crashing into a telephone pole on North Church Street in Naugatuck on Tuesday afternoon, police said. The one-car accident into a telephone pole occurred on North Church Street near Buckingham Street, officials said. The driver was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries. Police said Buckingham Street is closed from Judd Street to North Church Street. North Church Street is limited to northbound traffic only. Drivers should use Hillside Avenue as an alternate route, police said. Connecticut drivers should expect delays in this area, police said around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
