Deputies: Crash in Vergennes Township leaves 5 hurt

VERGENNES TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Five people were injured during a crash in Vergennes Township Saturday afternoon, deputies say.  The crash happened at around 12:30 p.m., at the intersection of Parnell Avenue SE and Vergennes Street SE, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office. Two cars were involved, but it is unclear what led up to the crash.
