Deadly crash on Northbound I-280 results in lane closures in Daly City
A tragic overturn accident led to lane closures on the northbound side of Interstate 280 in Daly City on Thursday morning. The authorities were working to determine the cause of the collision. The California Highway Patrol initially notified about the crash on the freeway just after 11:10 a.m., north of Serramonte Boulevard. One vehicle involved in the accident flipped onto its roof, and one individual was trapped inside. The CHP called a coroner to the location around 11:35 a.m. The first and second lanes of the northbound side of Interstate 280 north of Serramonte Boulevard were shut down for an unknown period while investigators and clean-up crews handled the situation.
